Ebullion phishing warning

September 8, 2006

The more prospects the more victims to trick. In the autosurf industry, egold has been the favorite phishing target because of its huge account holders. Right now Egold has a new company as Ebullion became the recent target of phishing expedition.

The email circulating around requires Ebullion account holders without Cryptocard to change their password in compliance with its new security policy. Non compliance as stated in the email means suspension of account. The link to change user passwords however is not the genuine URL of Ebullion. It looks like the real one except it is mispelled as www.ebuilion.com .

• The traffic exchange PaidPornSurfers is an avid supporter of the payment processor Stormpay. If you sign up under its Stormpay referral id, you are entitled to a huge 100,000 site credits. Interestingly as its name implies, this surf site promotes pornography.

• It pays to use your credit card in high yielding programs. Here is one classic example. Some investors of the defunct 12DailyPro managed to initiate chargeback through their respective card issuer and were able to redeem their investment. However investors that used checks, electronic fund transfers and debit cards are prohibited from initiating the same action as ordered by the court.

Egold security tip

September 5, 2006

Keeping funds in your egold account is not advisable given widespread cases of egold scam. Although it has instituted measures to address account security, the high magnitude of potential victims make egold a favorite haven of hackers.

One way to avoid getting scammed is to download your funds and keep these in your own vault. However, this scheme may prove to be costly if you make online transactions on a regular basis.

Instead of keeping your funds in your egold account or in your own vault, you can place these funds in a much secured account online 1mdc www.1mdc.com . There is a minimal fee involved if you move your funds to 1mdc. But withdrawing these funds from 1mdc for online transaction is free.
